Vienna Economic Forum is popularising and promoting investment opportunities in the region from the Adriatic to the Black Sea. Providing impulses and pointing out – on the basis of research – the joint projects required in
the region for short-term, medium-term and long-term realisation, and promoting their
implementation. Becoming a place of definition, encounter, and of realising the public and private interests in connection with the various projects in the region as part of the United Europe.
Open Mind Society
Open Mind Society is a non-governmental organization established in 2009. Our mission is to empower local communities by creating a network of Social enterprises. Social enterprises are best described as social purpose not-for-profit or business ventures such as educational institutions, nursing homes, renewable energy plants, community development banks, local-credit market institutions, etc., which have the ability to increase local communities’ money-flow and provide sustainable local economic growth. The most distinctive feature of a social enterprise is the ownership criteria, i.e. local municipalities, NGOs and private investors are the “main shareholders”. Another distinctive feature of a social enterprise is the way an organization conducts its business activities, i.e. be socially responsible in the way they treat local communities and the environment.
